Kathryn Rose Yeager passed on October 1, 2026, at the age of 100 and recently turned 100 years old. She was born on August 23, 1926, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and died after a short illness at her assisted living facility in Roswell, Georgia.
She was the daughter of Esther and Benton James.
Kathryn married Carl Yeager in June of 1944.
She worked for a large corporation in Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Lexington. Her final place of employment was a secretary at the First Christian Church for 32 years.
She was a member of her church and a Sunday School Teacher at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Kathryn loved to write letters to her family and friends.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her brother, Robert, and sister in-law, Sophie, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Kathryn is succeeded by her son, Norm, and her daughter in-law, Patricia, of Roswell, Georgia and her niece, Susan of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and her nephew David of Alpharetta, Georgia.
Kathryns final resting place will be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
