Dear Stauffer family,
Please accept my prayers and condolences during these difficult times. Although I have not seen or talked to Ken since high school his can do attitude was always refreshing. We spent many lunches together in the high school cafeteria discussing sports, school work, current topics, etc. and his comments were always positive. These conversations are long gone but his competitive spirit will always be with me.

Kind regards,

David Horveath

I'm sorry that I was not able to get to know Ken better during our time with Hobart. He was my boss for a short time before I retired. He was nice enough to come to Jacksonville Fl. and take my wife and I out to dinner to celebrate my retirement last year. I was surprised to open a present he gave me, which was a golf shirt from the World Golf Village. Every time I wear that shirt I will remember Ken's kindness and humor. I remember a time he came to Jacksonville and I picked him up at a hotel near the airport. He asked if there was a Starbucks nearby. I said sure and took him there. After he got his coffee, I asked him why he had to have Starbucks instead of the free coffee at the hotel. He said, "they don't have soy milk at the hotel". I told Ken, milk comes from cows in the south, not soy milk. He shrugged his shoulders and said "oh well" with a sly grin on his face. I always teased him about that as he was so health conscience. I never would have thought that the Lord would have taken him so early. They say the good die young and Ken was one of the best. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He surely will be missed.

Dear Kay and Woody,
My parents and Linda told me about your son Kenny. He sounds amazing. God's Word tells us when we are "absent from the body, present with The Lord!" Kenny is now in the great cloud of witnesses -cheering his loved ones on from above. His spirit lives on in Heaven and he is free from pain, sorrow, tears. You will see him again...that us why The Word says " death- where is your sting?" I pray the comfort of the Holy Spirit and peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your hearts and minds...sorrow comes for a night , but joy comes in the morning. I am praying for you. Kay, I know you are strong... You survived babysitting for us....(tommy).
