Laura was born in Greenville, South Carolina to Jerry and Mary Huskey and was a wonderful addition to her sister, Allison.
She grew up in Orlando, Connecticut, and Alpharetta and graduated from Centennial High School.
Laura went on to pursue a career as a medical assistant and esthetician with Paramount Plastic Surgery.
Laura and Nick married in 2018. She was diagnosed with cancer a week before their wedding but fought courageously with the love and support of her husband and family. They lived happily together in Roswell with Nick’s two sons, Liam and Jack.
Laura, from day one, lit up a room with her bubbly, effervescent spirit. Her kind and compassionate nature shone through in all aspects of her life and work.
Laura never met a stranger! She was an outstanding friend, wife, sister, and daughter and will always be remembered for her big heart, beauty, and sparkle.
She is survived by her loving husband, Nick; two stepsons, Liam and Jack; her sister, Allison (Raul) and parents, Jerry and Mary.
