I have just heard of Larry's passing today. He loved coming out to San Francisco CA to visit and showed me all the best places to eat around Atlanta over 23 years ago. He also played the organ very well. He will now be playing in the heavens. So long my past friend Larry

The Staff and Associates of Von Maur, Alpharetta will miss your wit and music.  He charmed both staff and customers alike weekly with his Christian hymnals.  So glad he passed us along the way, as he will be missed!

I met Larry about five years ago through Odell and found him to be a very talented and interesting person. I enjoy music, and Larry was a professional grade pianist. He also had an almost photographic memory of his ancestors that he grew up with, and we all enjoyed listening to him tell the fine details in stories of his past memories. So long Larry!

Larry was a wonderful man.  I am so thankful I had the honor of knowing him.  He will be missed.

I worked with Larry at Haverty's, he was a gentle soul.  He shared his love of playing music at his church, and wanted to write a novel.  I was blessed to know him.  So glad he found love, he deserved a special someone to share his life.

Larry was such a sweet man and I will miss his "how are you today Miss Melissa" the most.  It is hard for me to go into Von Maur and hear the piano playing without sadness.  I like to think that he continues playing beautifully for another audiance in heaven.  Thanks for the memories Larry!

I only knew Larry for a short time, but knowing him certainly made my life better.  Larry was uch a kind and sweet human being.  He always had something nice to say and genuinely liked everyone.  Larry will truly be missed at Havertys.

Larry was such a kind gentleman. He loved to talk about cooking and recipes. As such an accomplished pianist, you could certainly see his passion for music. I'm so glad he found his soul mate in Eleanor. They were always holding hands and you could certainly see true love. You will be missed, Larry.

Larry was one of the kindest and nicest persons I have ever met. I have known Larry since 2001 when we started working together at Havertys. I can truthfully say I never saw him in a bad mood or heard him say an unkind word. He will be truly missed, Larry was a wonderful person with a beautiful soul.

I am truly saddened to hear of Larry's passing. He was truly a gentleman in every sense of the word. A kind and gentle spirit who will definitely be missed.
