Lena Eassey Hale, age 93, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on September 21, 2012. Mrs. Hale was born in Atlanta, GA on November 11, 1918 to Essa E. Eassey and Mary Najour Eassey. She was a lifelong member of the St Mary's Ladies Society and the St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church of Decatur, GA. Mrs. Hale was preceded in death by her husband, James Olin Hale, her siblings, Ellis Eassey, Annie Napty, George Eassey and Vickie Gossett. She is survived by her children, Howard Hale (Judy) of Waleska, GA and Wayne Hale (Carol) of Cumming, GA, her sister Julia Eassey of Decatur, her six grandchildren, Janne', Christina, Alicia, Candice, Amber and Derrick, her fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Hale are being handled by Roswell Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2045 Ponce De Leon Avenue, Decatur, GA on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 11:00 AM with The Right Reverend Archimandrite Michael Evans officiating. Mrs. Hale will be buried immediately following beside her loving husband at Westview Cemetery.
