LeRoy W. Stalder

LeRoy Wesley Stalder, age 74 of Roswell, GA, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010. He was born September 10, 1935 in St. Mary’s, OH. Le was the last of six brothers born to LeRoy Elwood and Norma Krauss Stalder.

Le enjoyed sailing, cooking, music, reading, crossword puzzles, computer creations, and being with family and friends. He kept in touch with high school friends as well as former colleagues from his 46 years in the packaging industry, retiring from Weyerhaeuser in early 2000 as General Manager of the Cleveland, OH plant.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Adelia, children, Todd and Charlotte Stalder of Cumming, Denise and Martin Corcoran of Marietta, Leslie and Jim Hever of Dallas, TX, Amy and Jeff Myers of Beaufort, SC; grandchildren Jonathan and Ashley Stalder, Kristen and Katie Corcoran, Joey and Matthew Hever, Clay and Reese Myers.

Todd’s mother, Donna Warrick Stalder, preceded him in death. Brother-in-law, John and wife Diane Warrick of Miamisburg, OH, as well as many nieces and nephews, also survive Le.

The family wishes to thank RUMC, Embracing Hospice and Seniors First Choice for taking excellent care of Le and his family, as well as CaraVita for their guidance.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Roswell United Methodist Church, 814 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell, GA 30075 on June 25th at 10:30 AM, with reception following. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Roswell-UMC or the American Cancer Society.
