

Born in Brooklyn, New York (1937) to Joseph and Bertha Cohen. Lewis, an accomplished business executive, was fiercely passionate about his work. For almost two decades, Lewis served as President of Sysco Foodservice- Orlando; He was relentless when it came to growing the business and empowering his employees to reach their fullest potential. He also served as President of John Lewis Foodservice, before directing his many years of experience and acumen to his consulting agency Carlyn Associates. To help as many entrepreneurs and local businesses as he could, he frequently volunteered his time at SCORE Mentors (a nonprofit mentorship network).
In 1981, Lewis met his beloved wife, Tammy Carlyn (devoutly married 37 years) and went on to have 6 children. Lewis put family first, fervently, and was a dedicated father, grandfather and husband. Lewis was preceded in death by Cheryl Carlyn (daughter) and Kenneth Cohen (brother).
His memory will be cherished and never forgotten by Tammy Carlyn (wife), Jay Carlyn (son), Michelle Carlyn (daughter), Serena Carlyn (daughter), Breana Carlyn (daughter), Cody Carlyn (son), all his grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
The Carlyn family will receive friends and family on Monday, November 1st from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home. Committal and burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum.
