

Mrs. Lila Cobb Jetton, age 91, of Johns Creek, Georgia, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 23, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Lila was born on February 3, 1929 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late William Lewis Cobb and Emily Satyra Taylor.
Lila met the love of her life, Robert C. Jetton, and they were very happily married. The union was blessed with eight loving children. Lila and Robert loved each other and enjoyed sharing precious moments and memories together.
Lila was a woman of knowledge and loved to expand her mind by keeping up with the latest crossword puzzles. She was a great influencer of her children and had a voracious passion for books. She has a mindset to excel and to help others succeed. She was the first female Vice President of Alexander & Alexander N.A. which was the second largest insurance brokerage house after “Lloyds of London”. Besides her hard-working and motivated lifestyle, she loved having her family and friends around to enjoy the family pool.
Lila was an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her beautiful life and love for her family, friends, and career will always be cherished in the lives who knew her.
Lila is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Robert C. Jetton; daughter, Gail Scott Blackley; grandson, Benjamin Perrin Blackley; brother, William Carroll Cobb II; and sister, Mary Frances Ruff.
She is survived by loving children, Jeffrey Taylor Jetton, Brenda Faith Mosley (Brad), Wendy Kae Jetton, Peri Jetton Buckley (Paul), Lisa Jetton Tatum, Emily Jetton Flanagan (Patrick), and Daphne Gail Jetton. Her sister Ann Cobb Thomas (Dr Raymond L.) of Florence S.C She is also survived by nine beautiful grandchildren and twelve beloved great grandchildren.
Two visitations will be held on August 26 and August 27, both from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on August 28 at 12:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home and Mrs. Lila Jetton will be privately laid to rest at Green Lawn Cemetery. There will be a reception to follow.
