Linda Cheryl Langston, age 72, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Linda was born on August 26, 1949, in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. She moved to Georgia shortly after marrying her best friend, and husband, Bob Langston. The marriage was blessed with three children, Chris, Lori and Steve. Linda and Bob enjoyed sharing 49 precious years together.
A lifelong volunteer, Linda spent countless years in the schools of her children organizing PTA events, working booster club shifts and overseeing fundraisers. She also spent many years volunteering her time in Waumba Land at North Point Community Church, rocking and feeding the babies on Sundays.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Lou Nelle Robertson. Survivors include her husband, Bob Langston of Woodstock, her sons, Chris Langston (Shannon Salter) of Kennesaw and Steve Langston (Rachel Kurtz) of Cumming, her daughter Lori Santarone (Wes) of Woodstock, her brother Richard Robertson of Taylors, SC, four grandchildren Caleb Langston, Austin Langston, Gracie Santarone and Abigail Santarone and her puppy, Rocky.
A funeral service to honor the life of Linda Langston will be held at 1p.m. Monday, February 7th at Woodstock City Church.
