Linda Lee Zimmerman

Born January 2, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of Annalee Ward and the late Richard K. Ward. She is survived by her mother and sister, Laura Kraemer of Cincinnati, Ohio, and brother Ken Ward.

She is also survived by her husband of 37 years, Dennis Wayne Zimmerman; one daughter, Angela Marie Barton and husband, Brent Barton; four sons, Adam Glenn Zimmerman and wife, Rebekah Lynn Zimmerman, Daniel Wayne Zimmerman and wife, Kacee Lyn Zimmerman, Brian Dennis Zimmerman, and Christopher Ward Zimmerman; and four grandchildren, Avery Lee Zimmerman, Adalyn Rose Zimmerman, Clinton Wyatt Barton , McKinley Brooke Zimmerman.

Linda devoted her life to her family and children. She was very involved in her children’s lives, being a girl scout troop leader and room mom for their classrooms. She was a bundle of life and would brighten the day of anyone she talked to, from her neighbors to the convenience store clerks. She loved to read, complete crossword puzzles, and to challenge her mind. She also loved deep conversations about spirituality and the unknown. Her sense of humor was her best quality; she knew how to lighten any tough situation with a laugh and then letting us know it would all be okay.

The family will receive friends and family for the visitation and funeral. The visitation service will be conducted at 6:00 PM Sunday, April 23rd at Roswell Funeral Home in Roswell, Ga. The funeral procession will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 24th.
