Hi.  This is Jane Wall and I just found out that Lisa had passed.  Lisa and I were best friends from age 10 until we finished high school.  I am sorry to say that we lost touch a few years after that.  We had some great times together …. we sang The Lord's Prayer in church (dressed in white robes), held lockouts at the church, went joy riding in her dads car (without permission), went on spring break to panama city beach,, played lots of board games and spent a lot of time talking about boys and listening to music.  We were very different: she was pretty and feline and I was sort of nerdy but we had great times together.  So sorry I did not get to spend more time together as adults!

Thank you for the many cards, notes, posts, remembrances, and thoughts of Lisa and how she affected your lives. She had a unique ability to brighten anyone's day regardless of what she was dealing with herself. We try to hang onto those moments of joy and the deep love we shared. Lisa had such a huge heart that she had to share her love with others lest her own heart burst. She lived her life according to God's word, 'Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other'. She did not judge, she did not find fault with others but lived only as she knew how. May we remember how even an individual can bring joy and love into a world of hurt and need by the actions of one. Thank you for all that you brought to our lives - peace, love, joy, and happiness. We miss you here on earth but know that your life has been rewarded. I thank God for your healing and that he can use you for a higher purpose. You will remain in our hearts forever!

Dear David and Cameron, 
I have known Lisa since third grade and lived in the same neighborhood in Columbus through most of high school only about 4 houses apart.  She had a perfect girly girl bedroom in elementary school. Lisa has a beautiful smile,  kind heart and when I heard about her passing was just recently after the fact in preparation for our 40th high school reunion. I was unable to go ,too, due to  chronic illness  due to a botched surgical procedure. Someone told me that Lisa was unable to go as well and why. I was in shocked and saddened thinking we were "too young" to have these problems. I only thought of her as sweet,  pretty, talented, happy and healthy and even in our 50's , too young for such problems. I pray that you find peace in your heart and soul to carry on with the memories you all made together.

I am so sorry to hear about Lisa, I want you both to know how much her warmth, kindness and welcoming spirit meant to me when I first traveled to Georgia and did not know anyone, she really had the gift of making people feel good and for that I am thankful to have known her.    I cannot begin to tell you how much Lisa was loved! I know you already know that. She meant the world to me. Even when things were tough for her I could always count on her for a laugh and a smile. She was absolutely the nicest and most caring person I have ever met, hands down. We are so grateful for Lisa's kind and giving heart. To have known her in Lakeside was a real treat, and every time we look into Rocky's eyes (our black lab) we are thankful for Lisa taking him in. He has brought so much joy to our family because of Lisa's kindness to him. We made it a point every Halloween to stop at your house and visit you all. Lisa had love in her eyes; we could see it. We are so deeply sorry she is gone; she is a beautiful angel in heaven now. Organizing meals and bringing joy to the other souls up there. God bless you all.
