Loyd Lee Smith

Loyd was born to the late Ann Riggs and the late William Roscoe Smith on March 5 in 1932. He grew up in Wilmington, NC. Loyd worked for the C&S Bank for over 40+ years. He was a committed member of First Baptist church Roswell, for 40+ years.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Faye Smith, son Kyle Smith (Carrie Smith, wife), and grandchildren Laura Ashleigh Tanner, Virginia Smith, Everett Smith.

Loyd is preceded in death by Russel Lee Smith (son), and Julie Catherine Tanner (daughter).

The Smith family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Roswell Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM in Roswell’s Chapel with Dr. Doyle Hamilton officiating. Committal and burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum.
