I met Cindy through my parents - Harry and Jean Flemister - both of whom adored her.
I found her to be a delightfully spunky, witty and strong woman who cared deeply for her family, her friends and her faith.
The world will be paler with her absence but perhaps now she can rest and just watch over the rest of us.
My heartfelt wishes are that the family finds peace in her transition.
