Lucy married Judd Hill and this union was blessed with an amazing son, Brian. Lucy and Judd loved each other and shared many precious moments together.
Lucy was a woman of God, was an active member of Church of Christ, Scientist and lived life to the fullest. Besides her many talents, she was a real estate manager and served clients for several years. She had the mindset to excel, was very independent and knew how to pool resources and apply them to help people.
Lucy adored her family and animals. She had a gentle spirit, a heart for all of God’s creatures and loved to rescue those in need. She was a devoted wife, outstanding mother and friend. Her beautiful life, influence, and love for Jesus Christ will always be remembered in the lives who knew her.
Along with her parents, Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, Judd. She is survived by her loving son, Brian Hill and his wife, Shelley, and a host of relatives and friends.
Brian wanted to share this with you......
Monday morning, my mother shuffled off her mortal coil. Her life had been a difficult one, and the last years especially so. Alzheimer’s is terrible disease. I have served as her protector, and guardian for most of my adult life, and I was deeply sadden to have let her pass her final days in a nursing home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions I was restricted from visiting her in the last 3 months. She was a spiritual woman, and loved God. I see her as healthy and whole, with no more suffering. Be at peace, Mom, your work is done here.
And when the stream that overflows has passed,
A consciousness remains upon the silent shore of memory;
Images and precious thoughts that shall not be
And cannot be destroyed.
William Wordsworth, from The Excursion
