Maggie Neil Jenkins, born May 30, 1940, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2024. Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, Quincy Wood and Elizabeth Taylor Wood Stroup; son, Gregory Jenkins; daughter-in-law, Sue Jenkins; brother, Harry Wood; and granddaughter, Rocci Marshall.
Maggie spent many years as a bookkeeper at Curb Tech Company. She enjoyed traveling, listening to country music and reading (her favorite author being Nicholas Sparks). Maggie was a member of Willeo Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Gene Jenkins of Cumming, GA; brothers, Lester (Gail) Wood of Roswell and Bobby Wood of Wadley, GA; sisters Elaine (Aaron) Otting of Cartersville, GA and Wendy (Randy) Hoagland of Gainesville, GA; granddaughter, Cortnie Jenkins; and great grandchildren, Savannah Fitts, Jacob Fitts, Isaiah Fitts and Rusty Jenkins.
A visitation for Maggie will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM at Green Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum. Following the service, all are invited to join the family for a catered reception in the Event Room at Roswell Funeral Home.
