Jackie met the love of her life, Fred, and they were united in matrimony. They were blessed with a loving daughter, Pamela. Jackie and Fred were married for 70 years and were inseparable.
Jackie was self-employed as certified electrolysis for many years until her retirement in 2003. She loved her family as she enjoyed having family and friends around. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. Her life and influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ethel Reeves, brothers, Clarence A. Reeves, Jr., and George Reeves; sisters, Myrtle Hackney and Lillian R. Bowers.
Jackie is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Carl F. Perkins; daughter, Pamela S. Perkins; niece, Vivian J. Hackney; nephews, Max Hackney (Liz Hackney), Charles Reeves (Mary Reeves); great niece, Laura Hackney, and great nephew Malcolm Hackney (Kaitlin Hackney).
There will be a Memorial Service to honor the life of Mrs. Martha R. Perkins held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Humane Society or ASPCA.
