Mary Catherine Doll, 88, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2010 at Freedom Pointe in Roswell, GA. She was born in New York City to the late John and Nora McGowan and was a long time resident of Kings Park, retiring from the Kings Park School District after more than 20 years of service. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Major Carl A. Doll; her two brothers, John and George McGown. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Doll of Goose Creek, SC, Suzanne Muller and her husband, Henry of Roswell, and Barbara King and her husband, Gerald of Goose Creek, SC; granddaughters, Nora Caporale, Carley King, Leigh Petteys, Stephanie Dale, and Meaghan Muller-Mendonca; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas & Brianna Caporale, William & Matthew Petteys, and Samuel & Jack Dale. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in NY at a later date. Family arrangements are under the care of Roswell Funeral Home.
