

Mary Charlotte Viskup, age 79, of Roswell, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026. She was born on January 16, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York. Mary shared 54 loving years of marriage with her devoted husband, Edward Viskup.
Mary was the beloved wife of Edward Viskup and the devoted matriarch of the Viskup family. She was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Margie, in December 2025; her father, William; her mother, Florence; her sister, Marjorie; and her brother, William.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward; her children, Elizabeth (Justin) Griesemer, Michael (Katie) Viskup, and Donna (Robert) Calhoun; along with her grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Mary loved her family deeply and dedicated her life to caring for and supporting those she loved. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around her. Known for her wonderful sense of humor, Mary had a gift for making people laugh and bringing joy into every room she entered.
She especially enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach, and going on cruises with family and friends. Her love, strength, and laughter will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076.
A Catholic funeral service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 3400 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek, GA 30022.
A wake and reception will follow the ceremony, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn at Northpoint, 10975 Georgia Lane, Alpharetta, GA 30022.
