Meghan was a very witty, funny, kind, thoughtful, artistic, creative and loving individual. She loved and was loved by so many. She cared for animals and in her youth, loved to ride horses. Meghan also loved the holidays. Her house would be decorated early for Easter, fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas. She loved Halloween and DragonCon and would plan her costume which was always spectacular starting months in advance. In addition, she always attended the color run races here in Atlanta. She loved getting the paint powder all over her.
Meghan graduated from Centennial High School in Roswell, where she was very active on the football and basketball cheerleading teams. Meghan traveled the world and was a student ambassador with People to People. She spent most of her summers in Missoula, Montana with dear family friends, Carrie and Barry Reichert, whom she considered her honorary grandparents. Meghan would joke with her mom, Karen, about their trips or times together. It was always the adventures of Psycho Barbie and Special K.
We all loved her very much. We will miss her bright eyes, her smile, the joy that she brought into our lives, her advice on healthy eating plus her kindness. Meghan is preceded in death by her grandparents, Orville and Marion Klabunde, Cleveland, OH, Francis and Mildred Floto, Dayton, OH and is survived by her parents, Karen and Charles Floto; longtime life partner, Charles Rhea Shaw, III of Johns’ Creek, GA; siblings, Alexander, Andrew, Molly; aunt, Beverly Jean Floto, El Paso, TX; uncle, Robert and Lisa Klabunde, Cleveland, OH; honorary grandparents, Barry and Carrie Reichert, San Diego, CA.
