I offer my condolences to the family.  I worked with him and Raymond for over 15 years and multiple vehicles.  He was always very honest and very kind.  I knew what to expect when I called him.   I think of you often and you will truly be missed my friend.  The honesty and the enduring smile will never be forgotten.

I learned of Mike's passing today. I am shocked and saddened. Over the last several months I would go to his company website on occasion and I began to notice that there were no longer any vehicles posted. Initially I wasn't concerned but that state of the website continued and I began to wonder what was going on. It's August now and I had been planning to call him up and see if he retired or something. I never expected this outcome.

I met Mike in 1994, memory serving, In Tyrone, GA. I bought my first car from him in 1995. I followed him to Franklin Rd, to the dealership storefront he had on Cobb Pkwy, and back to Franklin Road. I bought several more cars from him over the years and connected him with other buyers as well. We developed a very good relationship over the years. In fact, one of my brothers, to whom I recommended once that he buy from Mike, bought several vehicles from him and developed an even better relationship with Mike (and Raymond) than I had. The relationship was no longer about just cars but more about friendship between us all. Mike was a great person.

I hadn't seen Mike in a couple years. Those times when I would stop buy we often talked about grabbing a beer together and I regret that we never did. I wasn't stopping by to buy anything, really, I was stopping by to see him. 

I miss Mike already.

I only knew Mike through the car business. But just in my short time of dealing with Mike I knew there was something really special about him. Very laid back,  very honest and hard working. He was eager to please my ever wish when it came to our business together. I’m so sorry to just learn of his passing. While looking  the dealership up,  I stumbled across his obituary. Condolences to Ray and all the rest of the family. No question where Mike resides for all eternity. Kirk 🙏

Today, Sunday June 6th is the day that you recognized as your birthday. I would always call you on this day and sing to you happy birthday. Your friend, Brian, always came to the office with a birthday cake on this day. 

Happy Birthday to you my beautiful Amirjan. I am and you will always be a part of me. We are inseparable, we will meet and be together again. Happy Birthday Amirjan!  

Happy Birthday to my Amirjan! Today is your birthday and you would have been 55. Happy birthday to my beautiful Amir. There is not a single day that goes by that I do not think of you. I know that you liked to celebrate your birthday on June 6th as well! 

I hold our wonderful and unique memories close to my heart. You made the difference in everyone's life, mine especially. Happy Birthday Amirjan. You live to eternity.

My heartfelt prayers to the Memar Family.  Mike would light up the room when he walked in!  He always carried a big smile and kind words to brighten anyone's day.....

What sets Michael onto a class of his own was that even during those late hours, he had the humanity to pick up the phone, dial my number and say the three most powerful words in the vocabulary: "How are you?" and end all conversations without the slightest fail always on the positive. 
This is just a drop in an ocean that is a testament to who he was - boundless compassion, caring, generous and gifted with a depth of understanding that moved you. He looked to every human being, stranger or not, as a friend, he was always the first to raise his hand and say "hello," the word "enemy" had no place in his beautiful mind and he was fascinated by all forms of nature. 
Let me put it this way - Michael was the quintessential selfless man. Family, friends, strangers  hear me out loud and clear - may we all follow his example and may we all rise to his levels. 
I know only too well  about his love for his brothers, each and every single one of them in his own special way. For Farid, he had the utmost reverence as his eldest brother, Farzad the younger brother that he protected all the time, Farzin, the very special brother whose cooking he often talked about with pride and enjoyed tremendously. Needless to say that his commitment and dedication to his father, Dr. Memar, were unequivocal. 
As for me his devoted and admiring cousin to eternity, only God knows the extraordinary role he played in my life. Amir was not just my favorite cousin. 
He was my best friend, my big brother, my mountain, my fountain of joy and wisdom but above all and most importantly - he was, is and remains my guardian angel. And for that I am and always will be the most blessed and most fortunate woman in the world.     

Thank you for being here with us today in unity and in remebrance. No word, no sentence can be adequate enough to honour the life of our beloved Amir Memar. Yet, words, on a day such as today are our only ally. 
The name Amir means "Prince," in Arabic it means Chief and in Persian immortal. This is exactly who Amir was - a true prince - in character, in soul, in his interaction with the world - in everything. 
For those of you who knew him as Michael, the name signifies who is like God. You may be interested to learn that in the bible Michael is known to have led the angels against the army of Satan and became the patron saint of soldiers. 
Many of you may hold memorable stories about Michael, but I want to tell you about the Michael that I knew since I was a child and for thirty-seven years. 
In his country, Iran, Amir was the tireless and ever playful boy with zealous eyes running around his parental home in his birth town, Mashad. He had a way of moving around in a room that eclipsed a rotating sun projecting warmth with his presence on every single person in the room. I, for one, relished in those special moments. 
In Rome, Italy, Michael was the young, vibrant man full of stamina, ambition, promise and hope marching towards life like a soldier. From Rome, he launched like a straight arrow, a new chapter in his life and embarked on an adventure - one that united him to his three brothers in America and over time made him a savvy businessman. 
Michael was a self-made person.  He was the most hardest working and most disciplined person that I had ever met in my lifetime. He was up as early as 5 in the morning and worked as late as 10pm, sometimes even around the clock. He never complained. Quite the contrary - he tackled everything with high spirits and a sense of humour. For just as his name symbolizes, he was a Chief and Chiefs stand high in the eyes of God. 


I learn today that the Governor of Georgia was at Amir's funeral - who knew that he was known by the Governor. This is who Amir was, among many other things, modest and humble. In my lifetime, only three men showed traits of humility and greatness: my father, Amir and a special friend. We have lost the finest young man in the family. 
May you rest in peace my angel, princely Amir. Everything beautiful will be by your name, every twitter of a bird will begin by your name, every sunrise and sunset will be by your name, every full moon will be the mirror of your beautiful face, every boy that is given birth in this world can only hope to reach your heights and become an amir, if ever.
