Did not know that he had passed away, was wondering why I had not heard from him for such a long time !!! 😩🙏

Taco always called me kid… he’s awakened with wisdom and never short on knowledge or strength.. rest in peace my dear … he was always looking at things from a perspective of knowing and understanding loved his boys and his family and definitely a Mamas advocate…never ever forget to speak of his loved ones each and every time I saw his loving  smart ass smile … he’s up there playing golf and strikes  and strokes ahead of us all at true man walking and always above the best … we lost a good Man. Never forget.. 

We are sending our deepest love and sorrow from the entire Wideman family. We have so many wonderful memories of travel baseball and football every weekend when the boys were growing up. We fondly remember those years as some of the best memories when Chase was growing up. The entire Skole family is a great family and we have missed them since our move to Texas. 

Mike was a great Competitor, Coach, but most of all a great Friend and Father. RIP Mike.

Prayers to the Skole family.  Mike was a friend, business associate and great representative for our company.  I will always treasure the signed baseball cards of his boys he gave me. RIP old friend.

My husband Dan and I were shocked and saddened when I heard that Mike had passed away. Our memories of him are different than most posted here. In fact, we never called him Mike. He was "Tac" to us. We were friends at that magical time of life before marriage and mortgage but nearing the end of college. It was a time when you were happy just to have a car, a cool apartment that you shared with a few friends, and an adventure dreamed up to go on with those friends. And we had many adventures with him through the late 70's and 80's. He was always smiling, full of energy and ready to go. At some point he met Leigh and we were friends with them as a couple. Dan was groomsman in their wedding and "Tac" was the best man at ours. We continued our friendship after marriage as we both lived in Marietta. But life happens, we moved closer in to Atlanta and our friendship drifted away.  "Tac" was a special person that shares our history in early adulthood and we will remember him fondly and forever.


Our deepest sympathies to the Skole family. Mike was a wonderful supporter of my son Ryker and our entire family. Always encouraging, always supporting, always friendly. He will be missed greatly.

Your dad was alwys one the kindest humans I have ever met at  Eaast Cobb Baseball  with having some  of the biggest stars as children walking around that famous ECB park.. Always said hello and could chat for as long as you wanted about the 3 of you .Very sorry..

Nancy and I were shocked to hear the loss of Michael.
There was no one prouder of "his boys" than Mike  Skole.
He has left 3 strong boys who will pull together and support each other. 
Matt will be the bond that will hold Jake and Mickey through difficult times, because he has proven to  be a strong soul.
Matt came to live with us 2 summers while playing for the Cape Cod Baseball League, over 10 years ago. 
He spoke often of his family, and how important his dad was.
"The boys" will be fine, because they have each other. But they know we are just a phone call away,  at their home on The Cape.

Our hearts are so broken to hear the news of Mike's passing.  Our  familes' lives were so intertwined for so many years, with our boys playing football and baseball together, with Mike coaching them on different teams over the years.  He always made it fun for the boys, he was firm yet gentle, he had the biggest heart and was truly happy for them in their successes and always tried to help if they were struggling.  That man knew how to love big, and when he talked about his boys you could always see the and pride and joy that Matt, Jake and Mickey brought him. I cannot even fathom how broken your hearts are, and our family shares in your pain, but also in the sweet promise  that we will surely see him again in our Father's Heaven.  We all pray for your strength to get through this, and just know that you are so loved.

So sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. We all have fond memories of him at all his sons BT games.
