Our beloved Michael (Mike) Thomas Skole passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 67. He is survived by his mother Stella Skole, his three boys, Matthew Skole (Madison), Jacob Skole, Mickey Skole, Brothers Scott Skole and Tony Skole (Jody) Sister Robyn Burnett (David) Granddaughter Poppy Skole.
He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on January 5, 1956. His passion for all sports, either playing or watching, was instilled in his three boys. Mike loved to talk mostly about his boys and family to anyone who would listen. Mike graduated from Roswell High School in 1974, lettering in baseball and football. Mike went on to play baseball at Georgia Southern Univ. Mike enjoyed a successful career as a salesman and partner at Tenn Tech LLC. Mike was a fixture at Hobgood Park, East Cobb Ball Park as well as Blessed Trinity Catholic High School coaching and watching his three boys.
Mikes warm and caring personality allowed him to never know a stranger. Mike was always the first to offer help and loving support to whoever needed it. Recently Mike retired enabling him to travel, play golf and watch his boys play professional and college baseball. This community has lost a dear friend and companion. His spirit will always be part of Roswell lore.
Mike is preceded in death by his father Thomas Skole and his nephew and God son Tommy Burnett. He leaves behind several nephews and a niece.
