Morris "Moe" C. Moed

He is survived by children: Sharon Goodman, Rhonda Allenson, Howard Moed, and Julie Forster; grandchildren: Jason Goodman, Jenna Allenson, Saundria Moed, Samantha Moed, Bryan Moed, Melissa Forster, and Jessica Forster; and siblings: David Moed and Marlene Berkowitz. In addition to his parents, Louis, and Sue Moed, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Millicent and sister, Anne Louison.

Morris was born 12/02/1932 in Brooklyn, New York. He honorably served 2 years in the Korean War. Upon his return home he attended school and met his future wife, Millicent. They married in 1955 and raised their family in Deer Park, New York. Morris cherished being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed a career in the automotive industry as controller and then dealership owner. After his children were grown and married, he relocated with his wife to Alpharetta, Georgia.

Morris was a people person who shared his humor in storytelling and jokes to make others laugh and enjoy the moment. He was a bright presence in people’s lives and will be missed by all that knew him.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Green Lawn Cemetery (procession leaving Roswell Funeral Home's portico at 2:30 p.m.). Following the service, our family will be sitting Shiva at the Allenson home in Alpharetta Thursday 5 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Saturday 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with services beginning at 6:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend.
