

Born on April 6, 1933, in Chieti, Italy, Nick immigrated to the United States in 1963 with his wife and infant son and they established residency in Reading, PA. He is the widower of Gemma D’Alessandro who passed away in 2025.
As a skilled brick / stone mason, Nick was employed by Frank Ferrarra Construction in Reading, PA from 1963 to 1976. He then went to work for the Reading School District in the maintenance group from 1976 to 1998 and retired soon after at the age of 65. In 2017, he and his wife Gemma moved to Roswell, GA to be closer to their grandchildren.
Nick was a dedicated husband and father and had an unwavering work ethic to provide for his family. He was skilled in many trades and enjoyed home projects. He also enjoyed fishing, extended family get togethers, and his garden each year often sharing his vegetables with relatives and friends. He leaves a legacy in his son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.
Nick is survived by his son Thomas D’Alessandro and wife Sarah (Fiester) D’Alessandro and three grandchildren: Nicholas D’Alessandro, Anna Kate D’Alessandro, and Thomas E. D’Alessandro. He is also survived by his brother Pietro D’Alessandro and wife Elena D’Alessandro (Chieti, Italy), many in-laws, nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly, also survive him.
A Catholic mass will be celebrated on July 29, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 535 Rucker Rd., Alpharetta, GA 30004 with an inurnment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076.
