Sincere condolences to the family of Phil Dreger. I was a classmate of his
at St. Cyril's school in Upper Darby, Pa. Also knew Rachel as we both lived on Radbourne Rd. I have been corresponding with Phil for a few years, since we both were on St. Cyril's "find a classmate list". Since I had not heard from him for a month or so, I figured he was ill, or maybe had moved.
He often wrote about his sorrow when Rachel died, and spoke so fondly of his children and grandchildren. I am sad to have lost my last connection to St. Cyrill's and sad for his family in their loss. May he rest in peace.
Mary Jane Cheeks - calmary He will remain in my prayers. I hope God took him gently home.

To The Dreger Family ....Your Dad and Mom were very instrumental in my
life and I will always keep them in my prayers. My condolences to all of
you after a huge loss. Even though I had not seen Phil for a long time; he
was my role model for how to live the good life ...the right way. Strong,
honest; all with a great sense of humor; even though" lacking humility" at times. He was the best!!!! Love him and will definitely remember him always.

Our sincerest condolences to the Dreger Family for your loss. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Phil at Los Bravos a few years ago, where we became a very close group of friends. He spoke often of his beautiful wife and was very proud of his children, grandchildren, and the arrival of his great-granddaughter, Molly! If Bob and I weren't at the restaurant, he would ask "everyone" if they had seen "Bob and Freida". He would often call us to meet him, which we always did. We are very saddened by his passing, but know he his now with his beautiful wife. We love you, Mr. Phil and know that you will always be in our hearts!

Your Dad will be missed. I met him at Buffaloes about 4-5 years ago. He is such a likeable guy. Had many great conversations with "Dr. Phil" as he was know as in our circle of friends. When ever he would walk in to a place most would stop and yell Phil!!! Then the party could resume. Its such a shock to know he is gone but is in a better place than you and I. Gods speed my friend.

To the Dreger Family:

Your Dad was the world's greatest volunteer ! Met him three years ago when
attended a Veterans Day breakfast. Next thing I knew, was being trained by him on an USO assignment which truly changed my life ! It didn't end there, he convinced my wife Linda & me to join his team at Meals on Wheels.

In that we both lost our wives too early in our retirement lives, we both reminisced what life would have been like had he stayed @ Orange Beach or me at Lake Lanier w/ the love of our lives.

God took him away too soon; know he's up there in training for more volunteer duty; feel blessed had the few years we did w/ him; and hope he has a slot open for us when Linda & I join him.

God bless the Dreger family & may we all live happy lives in his memory.

Much love and appreciation,

Linda & Brooke Blake
