Mrs. Phyllis Burrows Kubler, age 68, of Alpharetta, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Phyllis was born on January 27, 1950 in Dallas, Texas, a daughter to the late William J. Burrows and Nancy Opal Burrows.
Following her high school career, Phyllis went on to become a Registered Nurse and spent the remainder of her life serving others not only professionally but also personally. Her passion for serving others led her down several different paths throughout her life, from becoming an ‘adoptive mother’ to many, volunteering for several organizations, and to serving in her church. In her spare time Phyllis enjoyed listening to and playing any type of Christian music, working in her flower garden, and spending time with her family. Phyllis was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend; she will certainly be missed by all how knew and loved her.
Along with her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by one brother, Paul Robert Burrows.
She is survived by her loving husband, whom she wed on June 20, 1969, Mr. Jonathan ‘Jon’ Kubler; three children, Katherine Kubler Jones, husband Stuart, of Cumming, GA, Kristopher Kubler, wife Sarah, of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, and Karen Michelle Kubler of Alpharetta, GA; four grandchildren, Savannah Grace Kubler, Madelyn ‘Maddie’ Grace Kubler, David ‘Sonny’ Stuart Jones II, and William Beauregard ‘Beau’ Kubler; one sister, Wanda Jean Warren; loving dog, ‘Millie’; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.
