Priscilla Lavallee Kane

Born in Woonsocket, Pat was the beloved daughter of the late Gerald and Gertrude (Laplume) Lavallee. After graduating from William M. Davies Jr. Career & Technical High School, Pat continued her education at Bryant University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance in 1981 and later completed her MBA.

Pat built a distinguished career as an Account Manager with Verizon Communications, dedicating over twenty years to the company. Upon retiring from Verizon, Pat embraced her passion for helping others by earning a degree in physical therapy. For fifteen years, she cared for elderly patients as a physical therapist, retiring in 2021. Pat’s compassion, dedication, and gentle spirit profoundly impacted countless patients and families, leaving a legacy of kindness and devotion.

Beyond her professional life, Pat was committed to healthy living and remained active throughout her years. She particularly enjoyed outdoor activities, with cycling, yoga, and dancing among her favorites. Her zest for life extended to travel and learning; Pat found joy in exploring new places and discovering new interests.

Pat is survived by her brother, Maurice Lavallee and his wife, Paulette, of Melbourne, FL; her sister, Vivian Robin and her husband, Marius, of Woonsocket, RI; her nephew, Marc Benoit and his wife, Kathleen, of Cranberry Township, PA; her niece, Robin Kasmouski, of Tyngsboro, MA; her great-nieces Emily Schofield of Del-Ray, FL and Julia Kasmouski of Baltimore, MD; her great-nephew, Jonathon Benoit and his wife, Heather, of Dunedin, FL; her great-nephew, Jason Benoit, of North Smithfield, RI; her grand-niece, Laura Schmieler and her husband, Greg, of Freeport, PA; and her great-nephew, Joseph Benoit and his wife, Jennifer, of Shaler Township, PA. Pat was predeceased by her brother, Paul Lavallee, of California, and her sister, Jeannette Benoit, of Woonsocket, RI.

Pat’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them, a testament to a life rich in compassion, adventure, and unwavering devotion to others.
