Regina Hunt Williams, 62 years old, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015. She was a lover of many things, including God’s Word, her family, and friends. At six years old, she committed her life to Jesus Christ and followed Him faithfully throughout her life, and encouraged others to follow Him as well.
Regina was born on November 20, 1952 in Atlanta, GA to Floyd and Jeanette Hunt. She grew up in DeKalb County and attended Avondale High School and DeKalb Technical College. Prior to becoming a fulltime homemaker, she was a computer programmer for the State of Georgia and later started Cornerstone Systems, a software development company.
She and her husband Bill met while in high school, and were married on January 21, 1972. During their marriage, they had three sons, all of whom are now married with children. Regina and Bill’s forty-years of marriage were filled with a strong commitment to each other and to their family. They experienced a oneness only achieved through Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her brother Bing Hunt, her husband Bill, and her sons and their families: Wes, Dana, Cora, and Emma; Barry, Christina, Emsley, Seth, and Gabriel; and David, Ansley, and Leo.
