Rene had a successful career as an accountant and business owner, earning the respect of his colleagues and clients for his professionalism. Outside of work, he was passionate about soccer. He was a devoted Real Madrid fan, and enjoyed attending Atlanta United games with his family.
Rene will be remembered for his loving and gentle nature. He brought warmth and kindness to everyone who knew him and treasured time spent with family and friends.
Rene is survived by his siblings, Blanca Estela Ortiz, Vilma Ortiz, Jaime Ortiz, Delmy Ortiz, and Mirna Ortiz. He also leaves behind cherished nieces and nephews, Betty Ortiz, Edwin Ortiz, Veronica Ortiz, Salvador Quijada-Ortiz, Luz Oriana Ortiz, and Jimmy Ortiz.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home.
Rene’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
