Born on October 29, 1952, in Bristol, Virginia, Rhonda was the daughter of the late Charles and Laura Bourne. She was raised in Bristol, Tennessee, where she graduated from Tennessee High School before beginning a career as a flight attendant.
Rhonda spent 15 years as a flight attendant with Eastern Airlines, followed by five years with American Airlines. After her years in aviation, she operated her own catering business, where she found great joy in bringing people together through food and fellowship.
In 1984, Rhonda married the love of her life, Bill Bader. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and caring for others. She was known for her generous heart, her willingness to volunteer, and her selfless nature. Rhonda consistently placed the needs of others before her own, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Bill Bader; her stepson, Matthew, and his daughters, Lauren and Jessica; her stepdaughter, Moriah, and her children, Jade, Mazzie, Juliette, and Jordan; along with many cherished friends and extended family members who will deeply miss her kindness and compassion.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2026 from 5:00-8:00pm at Ansley Golf Club at Settindown Creek, 5500 Settindown Drive, Roswell, Georgia 30075.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Cherokee County Animal Shelter, a tribute to Rhonda's love and compassion for animals.
Rhonda's legacy of generosity, service, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
