

Richard Marszalik, 64, died on February 28th, 2019 in his home in Roswell, Georgia after a sudden diagnosis and short battle with stage four liver cancer. His funeral service will be held this Tuesday morning at 12pm at Roswell Funeral Home in Roswell, Georgia.
Mr. Marszalik was born in Heilbronn, Germany, and moved to New York during his childhood. He earned a degree in engineering (electrical) from CCNY, and had a successful career as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Technicolor. He married his beloved wife Diane Marszalik, and they both raised their one daughter, Catherine Marszalik.
He loved being outdoors, hiking, and traveling around the world with his family. He was a big Georgia Bulldog fan, and cheered on the Redcoat Marching Band with his tailgate group, “The Dawg Pack”. He also loved playing video games and Pokemon with his daughter. And with his family, he loved raising many birds, especially his beloved Jellybean.
His family paid tribute to him, ‘He was kind to everyone he met, and treated everyone like family. He had a laugh that filled the room with light, and brightened every place he went with his genuine spirit. He will be sorely missed, but remembered well, forever.’
He is survived by his wife, Diane, and daughter, Catherine.
Visitation will be held on March 5, 2019 from 10:00 am till 12:00 pm at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd. Roswell, GA. 30076. The Service will be held at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Roswell Funeral Home.
