Richard Moses

He was originally from Lisbon Falls and Bath, Maine, but currently resided in Johns Creek, Georgia.

He graduated from Philips Exeter Academy, Exeter, New Hampshire. He then attended Boston College, Massachusetts.

He served 2 years in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger. He was stationed in Japan as a Military Police Officer during the Korean War.

He played 3 years of professional baseball with the Boston Braves Farm System

Dick worked in the textile industry for many years and retired in 1991.

Dick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, neighbor, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sue Little Moses; his parents, Oliver and Eleanor Moses, and his two loving dogs Paddy and Wolfie.

He is survived by his children Melissa Moses Meaders (Carl), Michael Moses (Carolyn), Beth Moses Elliott (Mark), Matthew Moses (Robin), and Mitchell Moses (Kim); his brother Oliver Moses IV; ten grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and nephew Oliver Moses V.

Visitation will be November 18, 2016, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm with the funeral service to follow. The services to take place at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd. Roswell, Ga. 30076.
