Robert Vernon Johnson, age 86, of Alpharetta, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Johns Creek Baptist Church with Rev. David White officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the church. Mr. Johnson, born in Jacksonville, Florida, was an Administrator with Riviera Junior High School, Miami, Florida. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Johns Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Viola F. Johnson of Alpharetta. Daughters: Julie Somers of Duluth, Laurie Johnson of Alpharetta, Martha Ann Johnson of Duluth, and Kathy Lamp’l of Lawrenceville. Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund or Johns Creek Baptist Church.
