

Ronald Howard Ardell, 75, of Roswell, passed away on Jan. 26, 2013. He received a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and was the owner of Ron Ardell & Assoc. for the last 30 years. Ron was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Hazel Ardell. Ron married Barbara Ardell and had three beautiful children, Tim (Mary Ruffin) Ardell, Karen (Thad) Smith, and Patti (Chris) Horton. In 2001 Ron married Nancy DeVane Ardell adding three daughters to his family: Sara (Brett) Bowersox, Christy Parrish and Aimee (Craig) O’Neill. Ron loved his 10 grandchildren: Tim Hornsby, Bo Ardell, Callie Smith, Caleb Smith, Sarah Horton, Jonathan Horton, Sara "SeCe" O'Neill, Megan O'Neill, Ryan O'Neill-Whiting, Dustin Bowersox, and great-granddaughter, Taihtum Bowersox-Jolley. Ron is also survived by siblings Ken (Dottie) Ardell, Joyce (Milt) Deputy and many loving nieces and nephews. Ron was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He was an avid photographer and loved camping and the outdoors. He was the ultimate family man and cherished spending time each year with his family in Ocean City, NJ. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at Roswell Funeral Home at 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076, Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 2:00 PM. A visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until the service begins. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to Susan G. Komen, National MS Society or Georgia Conservancy.
