I got to know Davis through my cousin Delaney White. The two of them were great friends and each time I would visit her, Davis would tag along. Me and him got to be friends ourselves and he had such a contagious spirit that made him so admirable. A kind hearted guy that was so easy to talk to about anything. I’ll
miss having fun times with him. He was so loved.

Davis and I worked together one summer in Chicago. He was the only other intern with me so we hung out all day together. He made me laugh and he was such a bright light that made the days go by faster. I am so deeply saddened to hear of this news since we were trying to see each other next time he visited. I pray the family has the strength to carry on in this painful time.

Davis was such a light in this world and brought fun to every situation. I love this picture of Davis as Cat in the Hat in Seussical - he was making bubbles - which is something that Davis did - his presence in a room was like bubbles - he made you laugh and smile. I loved getting to know him through musical theater at Crabapple and will never forget his epic bunny fights in Snappy the Clown when he broke half the set and then he led the cast in a "Single Lady" dance... Love you!

While I didn't know Davis very well as his fraternity brother, I could see the incredible impact he had on others around him. I distinctly remember admiring his leadership qualities and how easily he could make others have a good time. I am truly grateful to have been acquainted with Davis and for the positive energy he brought into this world.

So sorry to hear this news, our hearts go out for the whole Bergsagel clan. The memory stuck in my head are the twins around age 10 taking turns trying to see how high they could lift my youngest daughter by the pool. Much love from your neighbors, the Sobel family

Davis,

You were one in a million. You definitely made life more adventurous and exciting. I loved that I was able to be there to watch you grow into a young man and loved even more that we stayed in touch. I know heaven roaring with laughter right now. Thank you for making a better teacher and mentor. You always put your heart in everything you did.
