Sunday March 22, 2026, Sara Frances Lummus, age 93 from Leesburg, Georgia, went to be with the Lord. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Greer Lummus II and Richard Harrison Lummus; granddaughter, Sara Gabriella Flor Lummus. She is also survived by her cousins, Leone Haire and Pam Shaver Pierce Hayes, along with her niece, Carol Wellborn Reimer and her nephew, Curtis Wellborn.
Throughout her life, she had become a Registered Nurse, married Thomas Greer Lummus Jr., raised two sons, and was also in the DAR. Sara Lummus attended the First Baptist Church of Roswell for many years. She will be missed, and as her son Richard, I give thanks for what she has done for me.
Visitation will be held at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076, US, on March 27, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076, US, on March 28, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Following the service, Sara will be laid to rest at Green Lawn Cemetery.
