Mr. Stephen R. "Steve" Floyd, 68, a native of Atlanta, passed away on March 19th, 2013. He was born on Sept. 15th, 1944 to Joseph M. and Mary Floyd. He used his expertise in engineering to build a successful career in sales before retiring several years ago. Steve had a lifelong interest in cars which evolved into a devoted following of NASCAR which he shared with many friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph M. Floyd. Steve is survived by his mother Mary Floyd, Roswell; daughter, Dana Floyd (Charles) Manry, McKinney, TX; brother, Joe C. (Irene) Floyd, Atlanta; and many other beloved family members.
Visitation will be from 11 am - 1 pm and the Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 pm, Sat., March 23rd, both at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076.
