Mr. Stephen Nicholson Girard

Stephen Nicholson Girard left this physical world at his home in Woodstock, Georgia on Thursday June 30, 2016. Stephen was born in La Jolla, California on June 13, 1973, and spent most of his childhood in Sandy Springs. He was a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in Decision Science, and worked at Georgia Institute of Technology in the Office of Information Technology.

Stephen is survived by his wife Ann Marie Girard, his children Tascha GIrard, 12, and Gavin Girard, 8. He is also survived by his parents Edward and Lyndell Girard of Sandy Springs, Georgia and his brother, Chris Girard of Roswell, Georgia. He is the beloved uncle to Anna & Jack Girard, Rachel Wells, Michael, Joseph and Nathaniel Wells, and Ava, Chris, Jared and Nick Florence.

Stephen was a caring husband and father who loved to play with his children, Tascha and Gavin, as well as incessantly tease his wife, Ann Marie. He was a kind and generous man, adored by his extended family and well respected by his friends and colleagues. His fun-loving spirit will be missed by all.

The celebration of Stephen’s life will be held on July 7, 2016 at Roswell Funeral Home. 950 Mansell Road Roswell, Georgia 30076. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 12:00 pm. The service will start at 12:00 pm with a reception to follow in the reception hall.
