Steve was a beloved father and friend. An avid lover of sports, music, and serving his community, Steve touched the lives of countless individuals and built purposeful relationships that have withstood the test of time. Steve’s volunteer work with youth sports in his community for nearly two decades, as well as his widespread involvement in the piano industry, are among some of his most impactful achievements.

Steve’s family, friends, and peers will dearly miss his charisma, good-natured attitude, and “just ducky” perspective on life.

A relentlessly proud father, Steve never tired of rejoicing in his children’s accomplishments. He is survived by Jennifer McGuire (Joe McGuire), Matthew (“Matt”), Meghan, Hannah, and his two grandchildren, Connor and JJ McGuire.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Howard; stepmother, Betsy; mother, Peggy; brothers, Tommy and Greg; and son, Eric.

A casual celebration of Steve’s life will be held at Steinway Piano Galleries on North Point Parkway in Alpharetta, GA on Thursday, September 26th from 5-7pm, with speeches from his children and friends beginning at approximately 6pm.

Steve’s unexpected departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his legacy will forever be cherished.
