My condolences to Trevor's family. I went to college with Trevor in Boston in the late 60's. Always a gentleman and a kind soul. Thanks to Trevor I have a love of reggae to this day! He always called me Mr. Jafolis even though I always said call me Steve.

Dear Telia. How can you remember me?
I was a quiet teenager when you and Trevor had me in your family for a few days one summer some time around 1980.
I've always remembered fondly your family and those beautiful days.  I have conserved a photograph in your garden in my home. I particularly remember a large hanging American Indian handwoven tapestry that you introduced to me.
Please be strong in your loss. We are all thinking of you.

I am so saddened to hear of Trevor's passing; I had the pleasure to work with him as a client of his when he worked at Xerox and was always thankful when he was available to assist with troubleshooting.  He had the best personality and was so much fun to be around.  I will pray for peace and comfort for the family during this difficult time and will always remember him fondly.

Trevor and I went through High School at Calabar. I recall by third form we craftily found ways through the duration to be seated beside each other; a true friend and confidant. We last saw each other in the late 1970's. I recall driving in torrential rain to E. Orange NJ, from Brooklyn when we reconnected. Once again our careers led us apart. I will remain uplifted, knowing that we will indeed be joyously reunited as our Father promises.

Expressing my deepest sympathies to Telia and the rest of the Burgess family.   Words cannot express my deep sorrow for your loss.   Trevor was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met.  His smile could light up a room and he truly lived a blessed and vibrant life.  Please know that my love and comfort are with you.  I pray that time will heal your hearts and bring you peace.    

I am so saddened that my neighborhood and childhood friend  for six decades, Trevor,  has passed on.  My sincere condolences to Wilbert, Marjorie and Telia and those if his family who I have yet to meet.

Trevor was my best childhood friend. We grew up on the same street in Jamaica, four houses from each other. We lost track of each other for several years when we migrated to the US as he went to live in New Jersey and l to Chicago. But once l relocated to Springfield, Massachusetts, after graduating from high school and attending a couple years of college in Chicago, we reconnected on the East Coast and resumed our life-long friendship.
Trevor was the best friend anyone could ever have. Once we both retired from our respective careers; he from Xerox and l from the Federal Government, we would often meet up in Southern Florida, where l spent several months during the fall and winter months every year.
I always looked forward to meeting up with my best friend during those months.
Trevor was a kind and generous man. He was smart, he was funny and he loved people. I will always treasure the memories of the wonderful times we spent together in Jamaica, Florida, and California, where l currently reside. Rest in Peace my dear friend. You've lived a good life and did well.

Telía and family. I had the blessing of having worked very closely with Trevor for many years. I cannot think of a person that truly made every day better than the last. Integrity, honesty, selfless, intelligent, humble, hard working and, Trevor would have wanted me to say,  good looking can only begin to describe my good friend.

Telia, Terrence, Timothy  and close family, it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to my beloved cousin.  I often reflect on the little time Trevor and I spent together. He was the most compassionate,  gentlest,  kindest, and understanding person I have known. I have never heard him say anything negative about anyone. He was always so optimistic and positive about life. It was my plan to spend more time with him upon retirement, but as life would have it, we have to wait for Jesus' return to do that. Yes, that is our hope to join our loved ones in the kingdom of God. Let's be faithful and keep the faith. Be strong my dear cousins. We are here for you. May God's peace rest upon you now and forevermore. 

Trevor was a great man, husband and father.  We were blessed to know him for many years.  We enjoyed his company, his sense of humor and his joy filled smile! He will be very missed!!

My beloved cousin (brother) Trevor you will be missed by the entire family. You always called me your favorite cousin (and I know I was). I often think about the good times at Oraton Parkway and Profitt Ave. You were a person loved by everyone, always full of joy and laughter. 
We could always depend on you to lend a helping hand; I still think back at the time when you came to New Jersey and assisted with Mark when he was ill.
I will always carry these fond memories of you with me.

I can not find enough adjectives to say how much I enjoyed knowing Trevor.  We often talked family, children, marriage, life, work and chess strategies.   
I am a better person from knowing and working with him. I still laugh out loud at his 'beating a dead horse', 'give me a boot', and other true stories.

Trevor was an excellent husband, father and Xerox employee.  He always displayed a very kind and helpful attitude with his fellow employees.
