

Trevor was born on February 15, 1949 in Kingston, Jamaica, the son to the late Lloyd Burgess and Mavis Burgess. Trevor graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree and worked for over 35 years as a Software Engineer.
Trevor met his high school sweetheart, Telia, and it was love at first sight. He knew immediately Telia would be his wife and they were united in holy matrimony on September 9, 1970. This union of 51 years of happiness was blessed with three loving sons, Trevor Jack, Terrence and Timothy. Trevor and Telia loved each other and enjoyed many years of precious moments and adventures together.
Trevor lived life to the fullest. He was intelligent and had a way of connecting with people. He had a smile that could light up a dark room. He never met a stranger and had a genuine giving spirit. He influenced so many people and everyone loved him.
Trevor loved the outdoors and working on new projects. Besides his many talents, he enjoyed working on his garden, growing plants. He was a lifelong learner and able to recall anything, especially when it came to science and mathematics. He made sure to instill in his children and grandchildren the importance of being a hard worker.
Trevor first priority was his family. He adored his family, as he loved having his children and grandchildren around. He was a devoted husband of 51 years, a loving father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend. He was a mentor and an inspiration to so many people. His legacy, love, compassion and generosity will always be cherished in the lives of those who knew him.
Along with his parents, Trevor is preceded in death by his beloved son, Trevor Jack Burgess. He is survived by his devoted wife, Telia Burgess; sons, Terrence Burgess, Timothy Burgess; sister, Marjorie Burgess and brother, Wilbert Burgess.
The Celebration of Life for Mr. Trevor Burgess will take place at one o’ clock in the afternoon on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the Roswell Funeral Home and Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia.
