Walter Butler, 46, of Roswell, passed away on June 23, 2012. Services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, June 27 at the First Baptist Church Roswell with visitation to follow. Walter could often be found walking with man’s best friend Ellie Mae, a sweet Boston Terrier who loved him until the end. He volunteered at the American Legion in Alpharetta and loved to travel. After a brief career in the Army, he was a courier for many years. He was preceded in death by his father Gilbert Lowell Butler. Memories of Walter will be cherished by his many friends, mother, Diana Butler, sister, Jeanne Butler Eidex, brother-in-law Jay Eidex, and nephews Zachary and Charlie Eidex. Donations can be made to the First Baptist Church in Roswell.
