Warren George Boylan

Warren was born to the late Claudia Meyer Boylan and the late Warren J. Boylan on October 22, 1933. He grew up in Hoboken, NJ and attended Rutgers University before moving to Atlanta in the early 1950’s. He opened and operated a used car lot next door to the Varsity called Warren’s Motors. Warren’s career spanned over 35 years in the tire industry and he was a former Regional VP at Dunlop Tire Corporation in Atlanta at retirement. Warren was always involved in his children’s sporting events. He coached football games at the Sandy Springs Little League Football Association and later became President of the SSLLF Association. He never missed one of his children’s high school events and also attended many practices.

Warren was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Angela Fitzgibbon. They shared over 45 years of marriage and enjoyed visiting family across the US as well as traveling the world together.

Warren leaves behind his sons Scott Boylan (Joanne), Travis Boylan (Sandra), Brad Boylan and Greg Boylan (Lisa) and his daughter, Claudia Gregory (Darren). Warren is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren: Drew, Chaz, William, Cole, Zoe, Chris, Courtney, Jack, Parker, Angie, Hayden, Alexis and Nicole and one great-grandchild Theo.

His memory will be cherished by many who crossed his path. He will be remembered for his love of family along with his smile and booming laughter. He was an avid sports fan and loved football and baseball. He was a loyal fan of the UGA Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves.

The Boylan family will receive friends on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 11 AM until 12 PM at Roswell Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery. Committal and burial will follow.
