Son you are also my Moon & Stars

The reason my heart beats

The blood in my veins flow

and also my reason for breathing

You are my the melody in every song I sing

the joy that life can bring

To me that's what you are

Because of you I wake each day with renewed hope

I go to bed each night with peace and sweet dreams

You are my strength for each new challenge

and my solace for each defeat

Your laughter and smile stay

In my memory when you are away

To comfort me until you return

I am a winner in your victories

I am the tear drops when you are down

Your dreams and ambitions

If I could would lay at your feet

Go my son

and fly to heights unknown

Just know where ever mother is

Will always be your home

I was fortunate enough to know William for 25 years. He was a good man who carried himself with quiet dignity. He was smart, with a quick wit and an understated sense of humor. He was a good friend and a great son who loved his mother.

William had a big heart - he cared about people and was always ready to offer help. He was also modest and unassuming, and probably didn't realize how many people's lives he touched and the positive impact he had. I hope he can see that now.

Good-bye, William. You are missed.

Like the saying goes 'The picture is worth a thousand words' William was/is my guru. He is the finest gentlemen I have ever worked with to date. He knew how to respect, value his peers especially women. He was a dear friend and the first person that came to my mind when I needed help. I can only imagine a calm and warm natured person whenever I think of William. Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will be immensely missed by all of us. No one can replace your place in our hearts.

I've had the pleasure of working with William for the past 18 years. I loved his wonderful sense of humor and gentle disposition. Even when things could get stressful at work, he was always the cool collected one. And smart as heck - he was always thinking about 3 steps ahead to look for possible impacts in other areas. His intelligence, good humor and wonderful nature will be greatly missed by his Wolters Kluwer family!

I have worked with William at Wolters Kluwer and have known him for about 10 years. He was one of the most caring and thoughtful persons I have ever met! He was very smart, cool and funny and taught me a great deal! I have lost a dear friend! May his soul rest in peace!

We met when Jen Foley invited George and I to play Trivia and became members of the Unindicted Conspirators. You made us feel welcomed to the group even though we were strangers. You were always making sure everyone was taken care of, noticing things others might miss. You showed such kindness and it beamed from your eyes like a superpower. You, William Alonso, will always be remembered by those whose lives you touched.

Mrs Alonso you had a great kid. We both worked together at Wolters Kluwer. He was the most humble and nicest person I have ever met. I have known him for 4 years, coolest person in the room. I loved working with him everyday. I still feel he is around , asking me "did you see this error anytime?" And I always said not really. I miss him everyday and wait for him every morning to wish him good morning. I think I lost a friend and a brother. May his soul rest in peace.

My most precious son,

You were the son mother's dreamt of having however, I was the one
who's dream came true. You were smart talented and most of all so
well behaved. You were so kind and helpful to everyone. You challenged people to help them expand. You always thought of and helped others. I wish you would have directed more of your attention to careing for yourself. The emptiness I feel can never be filled till I see you again.
Good night sweet baby!
