William Edwin Bagwell

William Edwin Bagwell, age 90, of Alpharetta died Thursday, August 10th in is home at Inspired Living surrounded by his son and Jesus. He was born in Buford, GA on April 24, 1933 but spent most of his life in Alpharetta, GA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, stepdad Roy Pugh and his wife, None Pugh; wife, Hazel Winston Bagwell; brother, Harold Bagwell; half sister, Joan Nelms.

He is survived by his son, Robert Bagwell; grandkids, Stephen Paul Bagwell and Ashley Nicole Tison;

great grandchild, Elijah Bagwell. He played football in high school at Buford and attended all the football and basketball games until health would not allow it anymore. He served our country in the Navy and later retired from the US Postal Service. His memory will be cherished by his son, grandkids and many extended family and friends.

The Bagwell family will receive friends on August 15th from 11am until 1pm at Roswell Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1pm in Roswell’s Chapel with family officiating. Committal and burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum.
