Dear Mom,

As I was sitting in my office, thinking about the US I happened to click Dad's name...and modern communication informed me in a second the sad news.
I feel a very deep sadness...I want to share you my warmest thoughts of sympathy and good memories, which I still have.
being for one year your Belgian daughter as part of the Afs experience, is still one of the most intensive and best years of my life.
Dad looked after me as his own daugther and helped through some difficult moments of loneliness .
I had a wonderful year staying in your family.
hope this email gets you well, so that we can soon get in touch again.

warmest feelings and big huggs,
your Belgian Afs daugther for ever

love
Isabelle Willems-Claus

On behalf of the Delta Golden Wings, the fraternal organization of retired Delta pilots, of which William ‘Bill' Morton Billingsley was a member, I wish to extend to his family and friends the condolences and sympathies of our members at his passing.

The bond of friendship and respect from the time shared as line pilots for Delta Air Lines, both professionally and personally, is an enduring memory of Capt. Billingsley. He will not be forgotten.

Dear Pam, it has been an honor to serve you and Bill for thirteen years.
We always looked foward to your visits and helping over the years with any matters that arose. We will remember with fondness Bills' wit and laugh.
I noticed at the visitation Bill's picture with him standing next to the Swamp Fox Restaurant sign in Charleston. We stayed at the Francis Marion Hotel and ate at their restaurant just a week ago. What an elegant place, it fit Bill's debonair personality. Blessings always, Jerry and Camille Black

I was in the Naval Reserve with BIll at NAS Atlanta/Dobbins in the 70s. A fine officer and Delta pilot, a friend to all.

Sorry to hear that Bill has passed. He recruited me into the Navy at the old Atlanta NAS in Chamblee. We later flew together many times with Delta.
