Born on June 1, 1969, in Atlanta, Georgia, Brad was a graduate of Roswell High School and attended Georgia Southern University. He went on to build a successful career and served as President of International Castings & Equipment, bringing dedication and commitment to his work.
But more than anything he accomplished professionally, Brad will be remembered for the man he was and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
Brad was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend whose loyalty, faithfulness, generosity, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a gifted storyteller who could bring laughter and life to any gathering. Whether sharing a story, enjoying time with family, or simply being with the people he loved, Brad had a way of making moments memorable. Those who knew him will forever cherish the laughter, the stories, and the countless memories they shared with him.
Above all, Brad shared a beautiful life and a deep, enduring love with his wife, Mary Elizabeth Jackson. Married for 34 years, they were the loves of each other’s lives and, just as importantly, best friends. Their marriage was built on love, loyalty, partnership, and the countless everyday moments that make a life together so special. Over the last year and a half, they also had the opportunity to work together, sharing another part of their lives side by side. Their bond was a treasured part of Brad’s life, and the love they shared will always remain a lasting part of his legacy.
Brad’s faith was at the heart of his life. He was an active part of Roswell United Methodist Church, where he participated in New Horizons Sunday School and Disciple Bible studies. He also traveled to Guatemala on a mission trip, sharing his time and heart in service to others. Brad loved the Lord with all his heart, and his faith was an important part of who he was and how he lived.
Brad embraced life and enjoyed so many things that brought him happiness. He loved golf, skiing, hunting, and playing the guitar. One of his greatest joys was coaching his children. He loved being involved in their lives, encouraging them, teaching them, and sharing his love of sports with them. Coaching was about more than the game for Brad; it was another way to spend precious time with his kids and create memories they would carry with them forever.
Brad also enjoyed reading, relaxing at the beach, visiting Napa, and spending peaceful days by the pool. He loved feeding his birds, finding joy in the simple pleasure of caring for them and watching them gather. He enjoyed working out at the gym with his buddies, sharing laughs, friendship, and time together. A loyal Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons fan, he loved cheering on his teams. Some of his favorite memories were made on hunting trips with Billy, Ted, and Katie, sharing the outdoors, good company, and the kind of moments that become treasured stories over time.
Above all, Brad loved his family. His wife and children were at the center of his life, and he leaves behind a family who will forever hold him close in their hearts. Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, the love he gave, the lessons he shared, and the memories he created will continue to live on through them.
Brad is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Mary Elizabeth Jackson; his mother, Judith Anne Jackson; his daughters, Anne Marie Flake, Katelyn Elizabeth Jackson, and Frances Ellenor Jackson; his son, William Bradford Jackson Jr.; and his son-in-law, Daniel Alexander Flake. He was preceded in death by his father, William Irving Jackson.
Brad’s life was a gift to those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his steadfast loyalty, his generous heart, his wonderful humor, his deep and abiding faith, and the way he showed up for the people who mattered to him. He was a loving husband, a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man whose presence made life richer for those around him.
While words cannot fully express the heartbreak of saying goodbye, those who loved Brad can find comfort in the life he lived, the faith he carried, and the love he shared. His stories will continue to be told, his laughter will be remembered, and even the simple routines he enjoyed, like feeding his birds, will bring back memories of the man they loved so dearly. His love will remain forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to share in his life.
