Bill was kind, generous, loyal, and a remarkable athlete. He loved fishing, golf, basketball, baseball, and football. As a young man, he excelled in soccer and track and field, and he carried his love of sports throughout his life. He especially enjoyed cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.
Bill was a hard worker and spent much of his career opening restaurants across the US and the UK. He lived a full and interesting life, including time spent living internationally, and he always had a story to tell.
Bill took great pride in his father’s service in the Navy. He was devoted to his mother, Gladys, adored his sister, Trish, shared 13 years with his partner, Mary, and loved their dog, Pepper. Christmas was his favorite time of year and took great joy in finding the perfect gift for those closest to him.
Bill will be remembered for his generosity, his many stories, his love of sports and music, and the lasting impact he had on the people fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the home he shared with his partner, Mary, located at 7020 River Rapids Drive, Roswell, Georgia. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend.
He will be deeply missed.
