William loved traveling, gardening and had an abiding interest in mathematics. With his colleague Mac Wicht, he was instrumental in bringing the secondary program to North Georgia College. His summers were often spent teaching math aboard US Navy Ships, to sailors who needed a variety of education from elementary to upper levels of schooling. He was an inventive storyteller. The younger daughters would comment, “That’s not how it goes” if he changed the story. They would sit in the sand box or on the swing set in Dahlonega.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Peter Chanel, 11330 Woodstock Rd. Roswell, GA. 30075.
