Winston Ramdath was born on August 7, 1964 on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. He grew up in the town of Chaguanas. His parents were Mr. Harold Ramdath (preceded in death) and Mrs. Josephine Ramdath. They had 3 children: Kenrick, Ena, and Winston. While growing up in Trinidad, he became saved and was called to ministry in his early teenage years. He later met Sarah Lamothe and they married at the age of 18 years old. They later migrated to the United States. They had 5 children (Ruthven, Reuben, Faith, Regan, and Mariah).
Winston became founding pastor of The Oasis of the Spirit Church in New Jersey. He went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and took additional law classes to prepare for law school. Due to life’s circumstances, he went into the field of transportation and logistics management where he worked. His wife Sarah went to be with the Lord and Winston became widowed at the age of 49. He later met Marie Chantal and they married in July 2016.
His hobbies were walking, jogging, spending time with his family, reading the Bible and other spiritual books. Evangelism was his passion. He has traveled to different countries in Africa and Asia where he led many souls to Christ. He used to say, “What you do for God is what really matters in life.” He funded his own mission work and said, “Money used for God is never lost.” He had a passion to reach lost souls and to educate people about true evangelism. He financially supported churches in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Africa. He and his wife Marie had a Christian radio talk show ministry on Love 860 AM in Atlanta, GA where they shared the word and prayed with their audience.
Winston was a member of Buford Church of God and later Divinity Church International. Evangelist Winston Ramdath was a spiritual son of Five Star Ministerial World Alliance under the leadership of Bishop Frederick Nah and Pastor Karen Nah.
He was in the process of writing a book to educate people about true evangelism and had travel plans to go to three nations in Africa. The Lord took him home three days before his trip.
He was a husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, Pastor, Missionary, Evangelist, entrepreneur, teacher, great man of God, and friend to many. He leaves to cherish his loving wife Marie Chantal, his mother Josephine, siblings Kenrick and Ena, his loving children: Ruthven (Stephen), Reuben, Faith, Regan, Mariah, Angelina, Weston, and Jaydon; eight grandchildren: Malachi, Karma, Maleek, Isaac, Isaiah, Priya, Prince, and Adonias; and also, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins
