Ziad (Zee) Antoine Zoghbi, age 47, born on October 8,1972 of Woodstock, Georgia passed on to be with his Lord and Savior at 11:08pm on December 8, 2019. He died peacefully at Emory University Hospital from complications due to his double lung transplant. He fought the toughest battle of his life courageously and always with a beautiful smile for 130 days post-surgery.
Zee enjoyed watching and refereeing soccer, hiking and jogging with his pets and friends. His family was his first priority and he loved watching his daughter Grace compete in competitive gymnastics and his son Liam play soccer, football and basketball. He loved cooking, eating and a great party. He also enjoyed meeting with his fellow Toastmasters. Zee had an infectious smile and sense of humor that would light up the darkest room with his wit and charm.
Ziad was born in Ajaltoun Lebanon. Zee received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks California in Computer Engineering and continued his education and received his MBA from Cal Lutheran in Business Management. Zee worked for Dispersive Technologies in Alpharetta, Georgia.
He is survived by his beloved wife; Lauren, daughter; Grace, son; Liam, parents; Antoine (Paul) and Enaam Zoghbi, brothers; Jad and Ronald Zoghbi and their wives as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
His Celebration of Life Service will be held at Roswell Funeral Home Chapel, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076 on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2:30pm with a reception immediately following at the Zoghbi home. Once arriving at the funeral home please enter through the chapel door found on the left side of the building.
So many have been very generous with donations previously to the Georgia Transplant Foundation and the JC Evans Foundation in support of Ziad’s family. Zee was a very practical man and would kindly request that in lieu of flowers, any further contributions be made to Grace and Liam Zoghbi for their future educational needs.
