Mary Ellen Lopez

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, “Nana” and “GG” was taken up into the loving arms of our Lord on April 16th . Mary was born on June 15th, 1941 in Kingman, AZ but appropriately her birth certificate says she was born in Goldroad. Appropriate because everything about who and what Mary was to everyone she ever encountered in her life was truly “golden”.

With children Patti, Nick and Tiffany present, Mary breathed her last and peacefully began her new life.

Besides her children, Mary is survived by husband Ernie, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Patricia Maxwell and Linda Bryson, and 3 brothers: Richard Manqueros, Peter Vargas and Michael Hermosillo.

Mary was very active and involved in the parish community at Holy Name of Mary in San Dimas-Laverne where she served as a member of numerous ministries, outreach programs, and special projects.

We miss her so very much! She was the light of our family with her radiantly beautiful smile and loving heart and the solid base on which we all relied for counsel, comfort and care and especially love. We take solace knowing that her pain is gone, she is made new again and she is re-united with her “Mama” Maria Luisa and her Grandma Nellie. Rest in peace, Beloved, and we will see your beautiful face and your welcoming smile when you greet us at the door to The Father’s house.
